Our role as United Way is to be a connector and convener, managing and innovating around resources to maximize impact across the regions in which we serve. When COVID-19 emerged, our partners and the Greater St. Louis Community Information Exchange (CIE) mobilized to connect community organizations for a unified response. By leveraging Unite Us, our United Way and the CIE have been able to gain near real-time insights on and strategize to close the gap between needs and available funding as well as demographic disparities.

The ToRCH program exemplifies the importance of integrating social and clinical care to address the root causes of poor health. By leveraging Unite Us’ referral and payments solutions, we empower rural providers and CBOs to deliver comprehensive care, secure sustainable funding, and enhance outcomes for Medicaid beneficiaries.
