Complex challenges require comprehensive solutions. And when sectors come together, it’s even easier for people to get connected to the care they need, when they need it most. Effective cross-sector collaboration enables diverse organizations to bridge gaps, break down silos, and coordinate resources so as to best respond to the evolving needs in any community.
This panel will explore how cross-sector collaboration has been instrumental in helping communities successfully address complex challenges, and the key principles that underpin effective and innovative partnerships between sectors.
Join leaders from across sectors sharing best practices and lessons learned on:
- Using community data to understand specific needs and opportunities
- Design and execution of data-driven partnerships and programs
- The role technology plays in driving efficiency and accelerating impact

State governments are doing important work to meet the unique needs of their constituents, but they haven’t always been equipped with the tools or resources to improve the resident experience as they navigate historically siloed government and social programs.
Largely because of the proliferation of digital government services brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, Americans now have higher expectations than ever for the quality of customer service they receive from government agencies. State leaders know that ease of access is critical to effective and efficiently run programs.
Now, states across the country are asking: How can technology cut across sectors to improve their constituents’ experience with public programs? In this panel, we’ll discuss how states are using cross-sector collaboration software to make local public programs work better for their residents and their budgets.
