We often only have a person in front of us for a few minutes at a time, so to be able to do everything we can to help them in that window is really important. Previous to Unite Us, in order for us to help a participant in all the ways we wanted to, we had to make eight or nine different referrals, get different releases, and/or make different phone calls. But with the security of Unite Us, we know that relevant information has been uploaded and consent has been received. We can work within a system with everything in one place at one time. In a five-minute window, we can help a person do eight different things that would have otherwise taken us a few days.

We are unfortunately suffering from an extremely terrible mental health and drug epidemic. In order for a client or in my case a resident to get the highest level of care necessary, there needs to be solid communication and inter-connectedness within all of the resources. Creating a 360 approach for all of my residents is an absolute necessity. Unite Us has provided that opportunity.
