With Unite Us Payments, funders can reimburse community-based organizations (CBOs) at scale for the important services they provide, while measuring the success of social care funding initiatives. We automate complex coding and rate information so CBOs and funders can efficiently process invoices and social care claims, reducing the risks of costly denials and rejections.
Payments includes four key solutions that can be adjusted and scaled based on your organization or program’s needs. Then, you can prove the ROI of your social care investments through illustrative, detailed Payments reporting.
In North Carolina, Unite Us has partnered with NCDHHS to act as the technology backbone connecting health plans, network leads, providers, and public entities engaged in The Healthy Opportunities Pilot. Since the program launched in March 2022, we have seen an incredible impact with invoice metrics citing a 3% payer rejection rate—compared to the national denials rate of 26%—and over 146,000 services delivered to Medicaid members to date.
“Using Unite Us Payments has allowed us to expedite payments to community-based organizations for social care needs. We have assisted over 20 unhoused individuals in becoming housed. We have also assisted over 175 clients in staying housed and keeping their lights on. It has been a pleasure working with Unite Us. Unite Us supported our vision and helped us reach our goal of providing human-centered care to meet the social care needs of individuals in our community. The utilization of Unite Us Payments has blessed the lives of many families in Southwest Missouri.”
