Alex Lipton

Alex Lipton is the Chief Legal Officer of Unite Us, where he leads legal, compliance, and regulatory matters in support of the company’s mission. Before joining Unite Us, Alex served as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and practiced in the Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he counseled clients on mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions.

Alex serves on the Board of Directors of Bethany House of New York, a nonprofit supporting women and children experiencing homelessness, and co-chairs the Steering Committee of the Gravity Project, a national collaborative developing data standards for social care information exchange. He holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law and an A.B. from Harvard College.
