Unite Us Wins Startup Pitch Competition at App Orchard Conference 2018
Verona, WI – Unite Us is proud to announce that we were chosen by a panel of healthcare executives as the winner of the startup pitch competition at App Orchard Conference 2018. The competition attracted startups from across the country who have developed innovative healthcare solutions and are enrolled in Epic’s app developer program, App Orchard. Unite Us was selected as the winner by a panel of judges who were Epic customers on October 26th, 2018 for our care coordination platform.
The recognition was granted to the startup with the best overall pitch. Taylor Justice, Co-Founder & President at Unite Us, gave the winning pitch. In addition, on the first day of the conference, our VP of Product, Eshed Doni, presented on our technical solution and goals in a session titled “Facilitating Complete Care through SMART on FHIR.”
The judges’ panel consisted of three healthcare executives: Peter Greene, MD, Chief Medical Information Officer at Johns Hopkins Medicine, Darren Dworkin, Chief Information Officer & Senior Vice President of Enterprise Information Services at Cedars-Sinai Health System, and Shafiq Rab, MD, System Chief Information Officer at Rush University Medical Center.
